The Writer's Magazine

This is the home page of "Writer Magazine." Included are the current, next, and previous issues of the magazine. Also sections about ethics and syntax, a writer's forum, and links to Internet resources and organizations for writers.

Written Communications

A "Guide for Written Communication", prepared by Professor E. Wertheim of the Human Resources Group at the College of Business Administration of Northeastern University. The contents include pre-writing, appropriate persuasion strategy, effective introductions, organizing facts and ideas, coherence, tone, clarity, and readability. There is a link to a general writing reference: "Strunk and White's Elements of Style."

Grammar & Writing

Maintained by Professor of English, Charles Darling, for English courses at Capital Community College in Hartford, Connecticut. A guide to grammar and writing includes word & sentence level, paragraph level, essay & research paper level, and PowerPoint Presentations. There is a link to the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary.
