The Public Affairs Department is looking for
energetic Auxiliarists who are interested in becoming a part of the
Speakers Bureau.
Here is what you can be:
1)
A Contact Person - Person of Contact for the Media
2)
A Interviewer - Person to be Interviewed by the Media
3)
A Speaker - Person to Speak at Community Groups & the Media
in their area
4)
A Speaker Trainer - PA and Past PA Officers interested in
Training the Speakers
6)
A Speechwriter - Persons to write speeches
If you would like to be a part of our Speakers
Bureau, then here is all that is needed to be a part of the Team:
1)
Be a Member in the Auxiliary for at least 2 years.
2)
Significantly participate in at least one mission area (i.e.
OPS, PE, etc.).
3)
Have the proper uniform for speaking assignments.
4)
Be available both day and evening hours
5)
Be Enthusiastic and Dependable
6)
Have taken or will take the PA On-Line courses: Intro to Aux
PA, Chapter 6 - Public Appearances and PA Specialist 2nd,
Chapter 2 - Community Relations

Questionnaire and send it to me. It is just that easy.
The Speaker's Bureau will have a monthly or
quarterly Newsletter, called the: "Informed Speakers"
Don't be afraid to Speak Up the Auxiliary and
Boating Safety, we need to make sure as many people are safe on the
water as possible and only You can help make that happen.
